Expanded Workforce Camp with Enhanced Site Facilities

As part of our clients ongoing commitment to workforce well-being, Rapid Camps was engaged to design, supply, and install upgraded camp facilities at the Mt Marion site. With a growing workforce, the need for expanded, high-quality infrastructure became essential to support daily operations while maintaining worker comfort and efficiency. The project included larger kitchen and gym facilities, improved site offices, additional cold storage, laundry facilities, and a soundproof wall to enhance the living and working conditions on-site.

With the camp operating at increased capacity, the challenge was to expand essential facilities without disrupting daily operations. Rapid Camps addressed this by implementing modular construction methods, ensuring a rapid installation timeline with minimal site disturbance. The project was designed to maximise space efficiency, providing functional and durable infrastructure while maintaining high standards of safety and operational compliance.

Key enhancements included a four-module kitchen facility to accommodate increased meal service capacity, a two-module gym to provide ample space for workforce fitness and recreation, and a 12x6m site office to support administrative and operational efficiency. The project also featured a soundproof wall, strategically installed to reduce noise pollution, creating a quieter and more comfortable living environment for workers.

Delivered on time and within budget, the Mt Marion camp upgrade significantly improved workforce accommodation, site functionality, and overall well-being. The expanded amenities provided a higher standard of living, ensuring worker satisfaction, increased productivity, and seamless operations.
