Rapid Deployment of a 91-Person Fully Equipped Modular Workforce Camp

To support the growing client workforce at the nearby minesite, Rapid Camps was engaged to design, supply, and install a 56-person modular workforce camp. During the construction phase the camp scope of work was then expanded to 91-person camp with expanded central facilities. The project required a fully serviced, self-sufficient accommodation solution that provided comfort, efficiency, and scalability in a remote environment.

The primary challenge was ensuring rapid deployment in a remote location and tight project timeline, Rapid Camps implemented a modular, plug-and-play design, allowing for quick installation and immediate usability. The secondayr challenge was expanding the camp during the initial construction phase. The camp included accommodation units, central facilities, and essential services, ensuring that workers had a comfortable and functional living space to support operational efficiency.

The project scope featured 91 fully equipped accommodation units, a robust power infrastructure with three generators and an SMDB (Sub Main Distribution Board) for stable energy distribution, and a scalable design to accommodate future workforce growth. This approach allowed operations to be expanded as needed while maintaining high standards of safety, comfort, and efficiency.

Delivered on time and within budget, the 6 Mile Camp provided a high quality solution for remote long-term workforce housing.
