Rapid Camps Australia was originally established in 2013 to provide a mobile accommodation camp solution to allow for construction of a property development project to be undertaken in the remote Pilbara community of Onslow, Western Australia – which was bursting at the seams with an influx of workers to build new infrastructure to support the Chevron Wheatstone Liquefied Natural Gas project.
The entire set-up included in Rapid Camps Australia accommodation package was built in Western Australia to ensure that it was compliant with all of the Building Code & Road Transport Rules.
Rapid Camps Australia construction camps were deployed for 18 months whilst up to 13 workers at any one time constructed twenty four strata-titled units within Onslow. The construction camp including mobile accommodation trailers, combined kitchen / mess hall trailer, ablution rooms, full laundry facility and all associated infrastructure was able to be set up within minimal time & fuss, given that it is a temporary structure which requires minimal approvals from local government.
